Role Overview
We are seeking a
SaaS Security Engineer (SSPM & Automation)
to design, implement, and manage security controls across our enterprise SaaS ecosystem. This role focuses on strengthening SaaS security posture through continuous monitoring, automation, and risk remediation while enabling secure adoption of cloud and AI-driven platforms.
You will play a key role in integrating security into SaaS operations, improving visibility, and ensuring robust governance across modern cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities SaaS Security & Posture Management- Implement and manage SSPM tools to continuously monitor SaaS security posture.
- Perform risk assessments across SaaS platforms focusing on:
- Configuration drift
- Identity and access risks
- Over-permissioned accounts
- Data exposure
- Third-party integrations
- Define and maintain SaaS security baselines and remediation playbooks.
- Support secure SaaS onboarding, certification, and lifecycle governance.
- Build and enhance integrations between SSPM, IAM, SIEM, ticketing, and GRC platforms.
- Develop automated workflows to detect, prioritize, and remediate security risks.
- Create dashboards, reports, and KPIs for continuous security posture visibility.
- Leverage APIs, scripting (Python/Power Shell), and IaC (Terraform) to scale operations.
- Evaluate security controls across SaaS integrations with AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI.
- Ensure secure implementation of:
- Identity federation & SSO
- API security
- Data protection
- Logging and monitoring
- Collaborate with cloud security teams to ensure consistent control adoption and risk mitigation.
- Document risks, findings, and remediation recommendations.
- Contribute to SaaS security standards, policies, and secure-by-design practices.
- Support risk assessments, exception handling, and certification processes.
- Drive continuous improvement in SaaS governance frameworks.
- 5+ years in Security Engineering, Cloud Security, or SaaS Security.
- Hands-on experience with SSPM tools such as:
- App Omni, Obsidian, Adaptive Shield, Palo Alto, Wing Security, Valence, or similar.
- Strong understanding of:
- SaaS security architecture
- IAM & identity federation
- Data protection & API security
- Security monitoring & logging
- Experience working with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI.
- Proficiency in:
- Python / Power Shell
- APIs & integrations
- Terraform / IaC
- Git-based workflows
