About the Role

Sun Soft Online is recruiting a Web Content Manager for a state veterans agency, and the heart of the role is digital accessibility: implementing, auditing, and enforcing WCAG 2.1/2.2 Level AA across all agency web properties so that no digital barrier prevents a veteran from accessing state support. You will run accessibility audits (automated tools plus manual keyboard and screen-reader testing), remediate non-compliant PDFs and media, write plain-language content that simplifies complex benefits information, administer the CMS, and train content contributors across the agency.

Required
:
Bachelor's degree (hard requirement); working knowledge of WCAG 2.1/2.2 success criteria and testing methodology; experience with assistive technologies (JAWS, NVDA, Voice Over);
Section 508/ADA Title II familiarity; semantic HTML5/CSS and responsive design; strong plain-language writing and copyediting; PDF/document remediation skills; CMS administration experience.
