The Senior Director of Information Technology Infrastructure provides strategic leadership for the organization's enterprise infrastructure across cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments. This role oversees infrastructure operations, cloud platforms, networks, data centers, endpoint management, and infrastructure security while partnering with Rochester Regional Health and organizational leaders to ensure technology solutions are secure, scalable, resilient, and aligned with business goals. The position helps to develop strategy and leads infrastructure modernization, cloud transformation, disaster recovery, and operational excellence initiatives while developing and managing high-performing technical teams.

• Strategic Leadership:
  Partner with RRH IT and executive leadership to develop long-term technology roadmaps aligned with organizational priorities, driving cloud and cloud-adjacent infrastructure, independence from RRH IT, and continued use of RRH IT security systems and jointly used systems. Develop and execute the enterprise infrastructure strategy aligned with business objectives and growth, modernization, and digital transformation.
• Lead cloud transformation, modernization, and data center optimization initiatives. Establish infrastructure standards, governance, and technology roadmaps. Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend investments. Design, implement, and manage hybrid infrastructure environments (cloud platforms such as AWS/Azure, cloud-adjacent (Equinix), and on-premise systems).
• Direct enterprise network architecture, telecommunications, data center operations, storage systems, virtualization platforms, and endpoint infrastructure in collaboration with in-house and RRH technologies and staff. Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend scalable, secure, and efficient solutions. Support ISO 27001/Annex A and SOC 2 certifications in partnership with ACM IT security.
• Cloud Infrastructure Management:
  Oversee design, deployment, and operation of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and cloud-adjacent platforms (Equinix). Oversee cloud migration, modernization, and optimization initiatives. Manage hybrid-cloud architectures, security, scalability, resilience, and cost-effectiveness. Ensure cloud replication and backup for high availability and disaster recovery. Drive Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) strategy using Terraform, Cloud Formation, and automation to standardize provisioning and deployment. Lead Fin Ops practices, budgeting, vendor relationships, and contract negotiations.
• Microsoft 365 and Identity Services:
  Lead strategy, governance, security, and operations for Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, One Drive, Viva, Power Platform) and Entra , driving modernization, compliance, and secure collaboration. Ensure data retention, eDiscovery, information protection, and regulatory compliance. Oversee Entra  (Azure AD), IAM, SSO, MFA, conditional access, and privileged access management. Develop and maintain tenant architecture and operational procedures across units and subsidiaries.
  
  Drive modernization projects including migrations from on-premises Exchange, file shares, and legacy platforms. Establish governance for Teams, SharePoint, Power Platform, and third-party integrations.
• Security and Compliance:
  Collaborate with cybersecurity to implement secure infrastructure architectures, controls, and regulatory compliance. Oversee identity and access management platforms and vulnerability management remediation. Business Continuity and Resilience:
  Ensure high availability, resilience, and disaster recovery planning with testing aligned to risk management objectives.

• Oversee ACM data centers servers, storage, backup, and virtualization. Ensure compliance with backup/retention, patching/upgrades, and operations. Maintain high availability and disaster recovery capabilities.
