Network Operations Engineer

• Candidates must reside in the Phoenix metropolitan area.

We're looking for a Network Engineer to join a collaborative infrastructure team supporting highly available enterprise networks, secure data centers, and multi-site client environments. This is an excellent opportunity for a networking professional who enjoys working with modern Cisco and Palo Alto technologies while helping maintain secure, scalable, and high-performing enterprise infrastructure.

You'll work alongside experienced engineers supporting routing, switching, firewalls, SD-WAN, VPN connectivity, VMware networking, disaster recovery, and regulated environments.

• Design, implement, and support secure enterprise network infrastructure.
• Administer and troubleshoot Cisco networking environments, including routing, switching, WAN, and VPN connectivity.
• Configure and manage Palo Alto firewalls, security policies, and network segmentation.
• Support highly available data center infrastructure and disaster recovery solutions.
• Monitor network performance, availability, and security while proactively resolving issues.
• Implement SD-WAN, wireless, load balancing, and VMware NSX networking solutions.
• Support connectivity for multiple branch locations and external client environments.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and engineering teams on enterprise initiatives.
• Participate in infrastructure upgrades, maintenance, and continuous improvement projects.
• Document network designs, standards, and operational procedures.

• 6+ years of experience in Network Engineering, Network Operations, or Data Center Infrastructure.
• 4+ years administering Palo Alto Firewalls.
• Experience supporting enterprise Cisco networking environments.

The ideal candidate will possess one or more of the following certifications:

• Palo Alto PCNSA (or equivalent Palo Alto expertise with the ability to obtain certification within 90 days)
• Cisco CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE
• Cisco Voice/VoIP or other relevant technical certifications
