Hot Foot Recruiters is hiring a Bilingual IT Specialist to support IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, end-user support, and systems administration for a growing technology and semiconductor services company in Phoenix, AZ.

This role is ideal for a Mandarin-English bilingual IT professional with hands‑on experience supporting networks, servers, firewalls, cloud services, cybersecurity systems, and company‑wide IT operations.

Position: Bilingual IT Specialist – Mandarin/English

Location: Phoenix, AZ | On‑Site

Type: Full‑Time | Direct Hire

Salary: $70,000–$75,000 DOE

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM–6:00 PM

Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot computer hardware, software, network, and IT equipment issues.
  • Provide technical support and respond to employee service requests.
  • Manage and maintain firewalls, switches, Wi‑Fi access points, VPNs, and network infrastructure.
  • Support Windows Server, Linux, computers, servers, and network‑attached storage systems.
  • Monitor the operational status of networks, servers, NAS, backup systems, and security‑monitoring tools.
  • Assist with vulnerability remediation, system updates, cybersecurity reviews, and risk mitigation.
  • Support firewall rule configuration, implementation, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Administer Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online environments.
  • Support virtual machine environments using VMware ESXi and Proxmox VE.
  • Manage data backup and recovery processes using Veeam, Veritas, and NAS storage.
  • Conduct cybersecurity awareness activities and employee security training.
  • Track IT service requests, system issues, remediation activities, and project progress.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly IT reports and maintain accurate technical documentation.
  • Participate in IT asset inventories and equipment tracking.
  • Support the implementation of departmental and company‑wide IT projects.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, affiliated companies, and external hardware, software, and network vendors.
  • Perform additional IT responsibilities assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English, both written and verbal, required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required.
  • At least 2 years of relevant IT, network administration, system administration, or cybersecurity experience.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across computer hardware, software, servers, and network infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of routers, switches, WAN, LAN, VLAN, VPN, and IPSec environments.
  • Hands‑on experience with Fortinet solutions, including Forti Gate, Forti Manager, or Forti Analyzer, preferred.
  • Experience designing, implementing, or maintaining firewall rules.
  • Experience with Windows Server and Linux administration.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online.
  • Familiarity with VMware ESXi, Proxmox VE, or similar virtual environments.
  • Experience with backup and recovery systems such as Veeam, Veritas, or NAS storage.
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark, IP-Guard, and Forti Gate.
  • Basic knowledge of information security, vulnerability management, and cybersecurity risk assessment.
  • Ability to inspect and troubleshoot physical network infrastructure.
  • Strong technical documentation, communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
  • CCNA or an equivalent/higher‑level certification required.
  • EC‑Council or equivalent cybersecurity certification preferred.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and able to work full‑time on‑site in Phoenix.
