As a Technology Summer Intern within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, OH, Birmingham, AL, Dallas, TX, Denver, CO, or Phoenix, AZ.

Job Description

As a PNC Intern, you will participate in a "best-in-class" internship program. During this 10-week program, you will have the opportunity to gain exposure to a specific line of business, expand the tools you need to launch your career and complement your education with real-world job experience.

During the Technology Internship you will enhance your understanding of emerging technologies, while gaining a unique outlook of how technology drives the financial industry. PNC Technology innovation supports new and existing business capabilities, creating a competitive advantage while reimagining the overall customer experience. As an intern, you will be aligned to a project within Technology that will provide you the greatest exposure to rapid development principles and forward-thinking innovation tactics.

Interns will gain hands-on experience in Engineering or Data within the Technology line of business This internship is designed to help interns grow their technical skills, explore career paths in technology, and build connections that support their future career.

Past example internship projects include machine learning development, automating current manual processes, infrastructure provisioning, and outer API servicing. PNC looks for interns to bring a fresh perspective to everyday processes.

Job Profile:

Participates as an intern in the PNC summer internship program.

* Performs or assists with the core activities of the group by applying knowledge learned to drive business results (e.g., deal, sales, or process support, internal or external customer interaction, or supporting internal projects). Works under supervision and may have limited approval and/or exception authority.

* Participates in social learning within the organization (e.g., identifies and networks with business representatives and peers, participates in mentoring, job shadowing and community outreach)

Required

Education and Experience:

* Working toward bachelor's degree, technology relevant majors preferred (e.g. Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, General Engineering, Software Developer, Data Analytics, Data Science), sophomore or junior status, Minimum GPA 3.0.
