An established organization within the financial services and legal technology space is seeking a Business Analyst to join its growing technology team in Phoenix, Arizona. This is a full-time onsite position supporting software development initiatives, business process improvement efforts, and enterprise applications. The environment leverages Agile methodologies, XML-based document generation tools, and reporting technologies including SQL and SSRS.
This opportunity offers the chance to help shape technology processes within a growing organization that is expanding its internal IT capabilities. The ideal candidate enjoys working directly with business stakeholders, documenting requirements, improving workflows, and contributing throughout the software development lifecycle. RequiredSkills & Experience
3+ years of Business Analyst experience
Experience working within Agile software development environments
Strong requirements gathering and documentation skills
Experience creating user stories and acceptance criteria
Process mapping and workflow analysis experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
Experience with XML-based document generation solutions
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Legal industry experience
Mortgage servicing or financial services experience
SQL experience
SSRS reporting experience
Software testing and validation experience
Process automation initiatives
Business process improvement projects
Gather and document business and system requirements
Create process flows, use cases, journey maps, user stories, and test scenarios
Collaborate with software developers and business stakeholders
Support application testing and validation efforts
Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and automation
Help ensure software solutions align with business objectives
Participate in Agile ceremonies and project planning sessions
