Job Description

Client is looking for a Data Engineer with strong hands‑on experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to build, modify, and maintain the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW).

Must-Have Skills
  • 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
  • Strong hands‑on experience with GCP
  • Google Big Query
  • Airflow / Cloud Composer
  • Python
  • SQL
  • Experience with structured and semi‑structured data
  • Strong understanding of ETL/ELT and data pipeline design
  • Ability to independently build, maintain, and support production data pipelines
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
Additional GCP Technologies
  • Cloud Functions
  • Git Hub
Preferred Skills
  • Telecom or contact center domain knowledge
  • Experience with Call Detail Records (CDR), IVR data, or voice analytics
  • Experience with data lake architecture and cloud‑native data engineering
  • Google Cloud Platform certification is a plus
Responsibilities
  • Build, modify, and maintain AAA's Enterprise Data Warehouse using GCS, Big Query, Airflow/Cloud Composer, Cloud Data Fusion, Cloud Functions, Python, SQL, and Git Hub
    .
  • Collaborate with the Agile Data Engineering Scrum team to deliver new functionality.
  • Work closely with EDW development, Data & Integrations Engineering, Production Data Support, and business stakeholders.
  • Design and develop new data solutions and troubleshoot production issues.
  • Resolve reported technical and data‑related problems efficiently.
  • Contribute to technical improvements, process optimization, and overall EDW performance.
  • Prioritize competing assignments and consistently meet project commitments.

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or another technical discipline preferred.
  • 4-5+ years of related data engineering experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Prior experience working in an Agile software development environment
