Business Financial Analyst – IT Infrastructure

• Develop budgets, forecasts, and cost-benefit and financial analyses for infrastructure investments, including Cap Ex, OpEx, ROI, and cost optimization opportunities
• Oversee multi-region budgets, manage variances, identify and mitigate risks, and partner with peer teams and leadership
• Evaluate vendors, technology quotes, contracts, and service-level agreements
• Coordinate and maintain IT infrastructure roadmaps across servers, networks, cloud platforms, and data storage
• Partner with manufacturing, applications, R&D, information security, regulatory, and other teams to align infrastructure planning with business priorities and medical device lifecycle requirements
• Support capacity planning by identifying infrastructure constraints, resource needs, bottlenecks, and scalability and reliability opportunities
• Facilitate planning sessions, strategic workshops, and operating mechanisms
• Identify and help mitigate cybersecurity, data integrity, system downtime, business continuity, and compliance-related risks
• Coordinate infrastructure upgrades, migrations, documentation, and audit-ready records
• Travel 5–15%

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and 8–12 years related experience, or Master's degree and 5–7 years equivalent industry experience, or a PhD and 2–4 years of experience
• Ability to connect infrastructure plans to financial outcomes, including cost modeling, budgeting, forecasting, ROI analysis, and vendor quote evaluation
• Understanding of virtualization, AWS or Azure cloud platforms, networking, storage, and system reliability planning
• Experience with vendor management, vendor assessments, performance reviews, contract input, and SLA management in a technical environment
• Understanding of risk management and compliance expectations in regulated environments, including NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR, or similar standards
• Familiarity with manufacturing and enterprise systems such as MES, ERP, or Oracle EBS
• Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical partners
• Clear communication, sound judgment, and ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced, compliance-driven setting
• Must live within commuting distance of the assigned Dexcom site, typically 75 miles/120km
• Scrum, Agile, PMP, ITIL, or equivalent project or service management experience preferred
• Experience supporting infrastructure in a global, multi-site, or highly regulated environment helpful

Proficient in coordinating IT infrastructure planning and upgrades, ensuring alignment with business priorities and risk management.
