- Serve as a hands-on individual contributor on the Quantitative Sciences team
- Apply biostatistical and/or epidemiological technical approaches and understand their assumptions
- Design analyses using observational data to ensure robust conclusions
- Lead customer calls as the primary client-facing scientific authority
- Align study objectives with key stakeholder needs
- Work directly with teams embedded in life science organizations, including HEOR, medical affairs, and commercial teams
- Conduct commercial retrospective clinical studies using EHR and claims real-world data
- Create statistical analysis plans and implement analyses
- Develop algorithms supporting research objectives
- Write publications
- Collaborate with Commercial/Sales, Product, Medical, Engineering/Technology, and other cross-functional teams
- Translate clinical investigation questions into detailed data analytics requirements for internal and external projects
- Report into the Data & Science department
- Master’s or doctorate in a quantitative discipline (e.g., biostatistics, epidemiology, health economics, etc.) or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with messy data (e.g., electronic health records, outcomes data) and analytical methodologies
- 5+ years working with life science/pharmaceutical/biotechnology organizations and familiarity with providing analytic services to these groups
- Experience designing and executing research studies for life sciences
- Strong familiarity with health data analytics tools, especially SQL, Python, R
- Familiarity with clinical datasets and coding systems such as ICD, CPT, and Rx Norm
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical industry strategy and business processes, including clinical trials, new drug introduction, and clinical operations
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Clear communication skills and ability to deliver internal/external presentations
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with high attention to detail
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Demonstrates expertise in biostatistics and epidemiology, with a strong ability to design and execute research studies in life sciences. Proficient in health data analytics, including SQL, Python, and R, while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful insights.
