Base pay range$60.00/hr - $80.00/hr
Day to Day: Insight Global is seeking a Sr. IT Infrastructure Project Manager to support our client, a leading research and healthcare institute, in delivering high-impact infrastructure and operations initiatives. The Sr. PM will lead complex IT projects such as data center migrations, network upgrades, cloud implementations, system integrations, and application go-lives. They will define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders and technical teams.
The role involves developing detailed project plans, managing resources, and tracking progress to ensure milestones are met. Key responsibilities include identifying risks and dependencies, coordinating cross‑functional teams (including engineers, system admins, vendors, and business users), and communicating project status through reports and presentations. The PM will also manage budgets, procurement, and contracts, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and cybersecurity standards.
Haves
- 10+ years IT Project Management experience, preferably all managing Infrastructure and Ops Projects in a medium to large scale enterprise environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure components (servers, storage, networking, cloud platforms) and operational processes (ITIL, service management).
- Proven experience leading cross‑functional teams and managing vendor relationships.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to present complex technical information to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a proactive approach to risk management.
- Experience with project management software and collaboration tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Teams).
- This position is remote primarily with occasional onsite visits to DFCI’s main campus.

$60/hr to $80/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
