IT Business Analyst, Oracle Specialist/ Consultant, Systems Analyst
Role Overview
As a Principal Business Systems Analyst, Supply Planning at MKS you will develop and implement information technology and management information systems within the Oracle eBusiness Suite of applications. You will partner with business analysts, users and technical teams to ensure full adoption, effective usage, and efficient deployment of our IT solutions. You will manage the change control process, gather end‑user requirements, and be involved in developing, testing, implementing, supporting, and maintaining IT solutions in the Oracle EBS environment.
This role reports to the Director of IT Business Systems.
- Act as a liaison between business teams and IT to elicit ideas, gather and validate requirements for application changes.
- Collaborate with global teams on the design, development, deployment and enhancement of Oracle R12 eBusiness Suite applications.
- Work with Supply Chain Planning, Operations, Procurement, and analytics stakeholders to understand needs, identify pain points, document requirements, and drive design and solution.
- Lead the development of functional specifications, implementation, maintenance, and support for supply chain within Oracle EBS.
- Drive techno‑functional solution design and integration with upstream and downstream systems.
- Provide technical leadership leveraging Oracle configuration expertise and best practices for supply chain business functions.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for Oracle Supply Planning.
- Partner with cross‑functional business groups to implement new or improved processes for IT‑related business, financial, and operational systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Supply Chain or related 4‑year degree.
- 8+ years of experience in a senior or principal business analyst role or equivalent.
- Experience with Oracle EBS R12 Supply Chain module, specifically Supply Planning.
- Experience optimizing demand planning, supply planning, inventory planning, and supply collaboration areas with stakeholders, DBAs, technical teams, and SMEs.
- Experience developing supply planning insights within Oracle EBS and collaborating with external analytics teams.
- Strong techno‑functional experience designing and supporting integration between Oracle EBS and external systems using APIs, middleware, EDI, concurrent programs, and file‑based interfaces.
- Experience supporting Oracle EBS R12 in a global manufacturing and distribution environment.
- Demonstrated career path showing growth and handling of complex initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to synthesize complex issues into business language.
- Exposure to Financials (GL, AP, AR) and integration with supply chain planning processes.
- Experience leveraging AI capabilities within Oracle EBS.
- Exposure to Oracle Fusion Supply Chain Cloud.
Up to 5% travel required.
Compensation and BenefitsSalary Range: $ – $ per year (good faith estimate).
