• Design and maintain mainframe development tool chains supporting:
  • COBOL, PL/I, JCL, and related technologies
• Enable and support:
  • Source control integration
  • Versioning strategies
  • Artifact management
• Promote adoption of Dev Ops practices for mainframe development

• Develop and maintain automated build and deployment processes
• Implement tools and pipelines for:
  • Code compilation
  • Packaging
  • Promotion across environments
• Automate release management processes to:
  • Reduce manual effort
  • Increase reliability and consistency

• Administer and support enterprise deployment tools such as:
  • Endevor
  • Change Man
  • ISPW
• Manage:
  • Package lifecycle (build, test, deploy, rollback)
  • Promotion paths across DEV - QA - UAT - PROD

• Manage and support:
  • Development, test, and production environments
• Ensure consistency and integrity across environments
• Coordinate deployments with:
  • Application teams
  • QA
  • Operations

• Develop automation using:
  • REXX, CLIST, JCL, scripting tools
• Integrate mainframe tool chains with:
  • Enterprise CI/CD pipelines
  • Distributed Dev Ops tools (Git, Jenkins, etc.
    
    - when applicable)
