JOB DESCRIPTION – BUSINESS ANALYST II
Position Title: Business Analyst II
FLSA Status: Exempt
Covered/Uncovered: Uncovered
Salary: $60,000 to $65,000 (Depending on Experience)

The Business Analyst II is primarily responsible for supporting court-wide staff in the use of the court’s case management system and related applications. This role serves as a bridge between agencies, teams, and departments by ensuring operational needs are accurately captured and represented in software development design, and deployment efforts. Success in this role requires proactive communication, consistent professionalism, and effective collaboration across diverse court functions while working within established processes.
MINIMUMREQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Two (2) years of experience performing business application support or business process analysis.
- Bachelor of Science
OR
- Job-related work experience may substitute for educational qualifications on a year-for-year basis.
- At least 5 years of progressively responsible related work experience.

To perform this job successfully, a Business Analyst II must perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Provide first-tier support for the court’s case management system and related applications, both in-person and remotely, ensuring clear coordinator with court staff and technical teams.
- Identify and implement configuration changes to the case management system based on evolving business needs, policies, rules, or statutes.
- Translate business needs into business requirements that can be used for technical development.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on system capabilities and limitations during cross-departmental and cross-agency initiatives, facilitating shared understanding among technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, testing, and deployment support.
