The IT Administrator serves as a senior on-site IT resource, informal lead, and technical escalation point at the manufacturing facility. This role handles complex support and administration, provides mentoring to other team members, drives Microsoft endpoint and OT reliability, and leads site-level projects while acting as advanced smart-hands for central teams.

• Provide advanced frontline and escalated support across the site, resolving complex hardware, software, networking, Microsoft stack, and manufacturing system issues.
• Administration and optimization of Microsoft technologies (Intune, Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft 365, Entra , Bit Locker, licensing, etc.).
• Serve as the primary smart-hands and on-site technical lead for central Network, Server, and Infrastructure teams on projects, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to Site IT Support Specialists and Technicians.
• Lead or coordinate site-specific IT projects (endpoint deployments, network expansions, plant floor technology upgrades, etc.).
• Support and optimize IT Production and OT systems (HMIs, SCADA interfaces, shop floor equipment, security boundaries, etc.).
• Monitor site infrastructure health, perform proactive maintenance, and drive root cause analysis.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, cybersecurity standards, change management, and KPI reporting.
• Act as the key point of escalation and collaboration between the site and central IT teams.
• Contribute to knowledgebase development and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of progressive IT support/administration experience, with at least 2–3 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong technical depth in Windows, Microsoft endpoint administration (Intune, Defender, M365), networking, servers, and OT/IT convergence.
• Proven ability to handle complex issues, lead small projects, and mentor others.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Microsoft, CompTIA (A+, Network+, Security+), CCNA, or ITIL certifications.
• Experience with Cisco ISE, Umbrella, or advanced OT systems.
• Prior lead or mentoring experience in a Site Support role
• Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving under pressure.
• Leadership and mentoring capabilities.
• Proactive, reliable, and focused on driving results and process maturity.
• Strong documentation and continuous improvement mindset.
• Ability to safely operate in a manufacturing facility.
