• Provide 24x7 support for Production (E3) and lower environments; act as the first point of contact for database incidents, restore service, perform troubleshooting, and route issues when required.
• Manage database startups, shutdowns, restarts, instance failover, switchover, parameter changes, and pre/post maintenance validations.
• Monitor database availability, alert logs, OEM alerts, health checks, and infrastructure-related issues; perform root cause analysis for Sev1 and Sev2 incidents.
• Troubleshoot database and SQL performance using AWR, ASH, explain plans, locks, deadlocks, blocking sessions, and long-running session reports.
• Manage database, tablespace, ASM, archive log, backup, Oracle Home, and OS file system capacity; forecast space needs and coordinate storage additions.
• Perform proactive and ad-hoc backups, restore points, flashback restores, RMAN table recovery, database restoration, and standby database rebuild.
• Support OS and database patching, upgrades, migrations, server reboots, and application or database maintenance changes.
• Schedule and maintain backup and database jobs using OEM and CRON; configure monitoring thresholds, alerts, reports, and Grafana dashboards.
• Administer users, profiles, roles, privileges, schema unlocks, DBA IDs, application access, and required access for RFC execution.
• Maintain database security, audit configuration, TDE, encryption, and object validity checks.
• Monitor and support Data Guard, Golden Gate, PostgreSQL/SQL Server/YugabyteDB replication, replication lag resolution, DR activities, switchovers, and failovers.
• Support export/import, data truncation, and application-requested database activities in accordance with change controls.
• Develop self-service and automation tools.
• Raise and coordinate vendor cases for DBMS software issues and work directly with application, infrastructure, development, and DBA teams.
• Drive documentation, standardization, operational improvements, and DBA process automation.
• Experience in scripting and AI related tools.
• Experience on Public cloud environments.

Base Salary Range : $90,000 to $120,000 Per Annum
