Risk Manager/Analyst
Overview
We are trusted by leading enterprises in USA and Canada today and are now looking to expand our team of strategic advisors.
, we help insurance operations leaders reduce the burden of regulatory reporting, audit preparation, and risk documentation. Our platform transforms fragmented knowledge, scenarios, and compliance artifacts into an auditable, decision-ready system—without touching actuarial models or pricing engines.
We’re not building another risk model.
We’re eliminating the operational pain around risk: the manual, repetitive processes that consume weeks every quarter and create audit uncertainty.
Who We're Looking ForWe’re seeking fractional advisors who bring both deep operational experience and a strategic network within the insurance space. Ideal candidates:
- Have led operational, compliance, or regulatory functions at a mid-market insurance carrier (P&C, Life, Health, or Specialty). You understand firsthand why ORSA narratives take six weeks and how audit cycles strain teams.
- Maintain strong, first-degree relationships with insurance executives—COOs, Heads of Compliance, SVPs of Operations, and Chief Risk Officers.
- Are open to making warm introductions and shaping go-to-market efforts. This is an opportunity to influence early traction, not just provide strategic input.
- Have a builder’s mindset. You’re energized by helping an early-stage company win its first 10 customers and refine its product-market fit.
- Facilitate introductions to insurance executives responsible for operational, compliance, or regulatory workflows
- Validate positioning and messaging for buyers (COO, Head of Compliance, VP of Operations)
- Advise on procurement dynamics—what gets bought, by whom, and how
- Pressure-test our product roadmap against actual operational workflows
- Optionally join early sales conversations alongside our team (with additional compensation)
- Former COO, SVP Operations, Head of Compliance, or Regulatory Affairs Lead at a US or Canadian insurer
- 15+ years of experience in insurance operations or compliance
- Direct involvement in ORSA, regulatory audits, or enterprise risk documentation
- Deep network within mid-sized carriers (100–3,000 employees)
- Based in the US or Canada (for time zone alignment and potential in-person meetings)
- Ground-floor influence: Shape product, positioning, and go-to-market alongside experienced founders
- Equity participation: Earn meaningful ownership in a high-potential, under-served segment
- High leverage, low commitment: 4–8 hours/month can directly accelerate our path to revenue
- Mission-driven: Help modernize how insurers manage operational risk and regulatory complexity
Send us a short note—no resume required—answering:
- What roles have you held in insurance operations or compliance?
- Can you name a few COOs, SVPs of Ops, or Heads of Compliance in your network who would take a call from you? We won’t contact them without permission—this helps us understand your network depth.
- Why are you interested in an early-stage advisory role at this time?
We review all submissions personally and will respond within 48 hours.
