Associate Commercial Title Underwriter; Hybrid

Job Overview

We are looking for an Associate Commercial Underwriter to join our growing team. The role is hybrid to the Phoenix office but we are open to remote applicants from outside the area.

• Serve as an underwriting resource by supporting, advising, and authorizing customers and clients on issues related to the issuance of real estate title insurance commitments and policies.
• Exercise decision‑making authority, according to underwriting standards and guidelines, to underwrite the issuance of the title insurance.
• Provide guidance to company personnel in the performance of real estate settlement services.
• Issue underwriting standards and guidelines in accordance with established company processes.

• High School Diploma required;
  Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 1‑4 years of experience in underwriting, title, escrow or real estate related field preferred.
• Must be familiar with real estate law, including federal and state regulations.
• Strong understanding of fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of real estate title and settlement process.
• Strong customer‑focused negotiation skills with emphasis on effectively communicating analytical responses.
• Ability to collaborate and act decisively; build relationships internally and externally.
• Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to multi‑task, prioritize and timely follow up.
• Critical thinking and creative solutions.

Pay Range: $32.31 - $43.05 hourly

• Bonus pay and/or incentives for production or other goals (historically competitive for the Arizona Market).
