Brown & Brown is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our growing team in Phoenix, AZ! As the main client contact and account coordinator for an assigned book of business, use appropriate judgment and decision-making skills to provide service for customer accounts and transactions, in support of the production and retention of the business.

This position is responsible for building, expanding and solidifying relationships with clients at all levels with the company and lead appropriate resources to address the client’s needs, including risk identification and resolution of underwriting or policy issues, accounting issues, claims issues etc. As the Lead Account Executive, you will also be responsible for the training and mentoring of new Teammates.

How

You Will Contribute:
  • Service Commercial Accounts
  • General Coverage Knowledge and ability to counsel AE/AM/Producer
  • Account Partnership Development
  • Accompany Producer to Client Visits/Presentations
  • Insurance Coverage Review – Prepare with summary & give to producer for completion with the insured
  • Get renewal applications and copies or prior applications
  • Order current loss runs and other documents needed in the renewal/marketing process
  • Submit complete and accurate renewal information to the incumbent carrier(s)
  • Issue binders, auto  and order renewal certificates of insurance
  • Provide services or coordinate carrier services as needed, such as Claim reviews, Loss control visits and services, and Premium allocations
Licenses &

Certifications:

P&C Licensed preferred

Skills & Experience to be Successful:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite
  • Exceptional telephone demeanour
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Preferred 3-5+ years of insurance experience
  • Professional office environment experience
  • College degree
