Client: E&S Carrier Company
Responsibilities:- Underwrite new and renewal E&S business, including complex and higher-severity risks.
- Manage and grow a profitable book of business.
- Build strong relationships with key wholesale brokers and agency partners.
- Provide underwriting guidance, mentorship, and coaching to junior team members.
- Partner with internal teams on product development, market trends, and process improvements.
- Support agency visits, industry events, and other business development initiatives.
- 5+ years of Senior Underwriting experience within E&S / Excess & Surplus Lines.
- Strong technical underwriting and risk selection experience.
- Proven ability to manage a profitable book and develop broker relationships.
- Experience mentoring or supporting the development of other underwriters.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; insurance designations are a plus
