Pivot Cycles is seeking a Corporate Paralegal to support our growing legal and compliance functions. In this role, you’ll work closely with executive leadership and external counsel to manage a wide range of corporate legal matters, including contracts, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a dynamic, fast-paced environment where your work directly supports our global operations and innovation in the cycling industry.

This is an in-house position located in Tempe, AZ.

Responsibilities:

  • Contract Management:
    Draft, review, and negotiate dealer agreements, distribution contracts, vendor agreements, and supply agreements
  • Trademark Portfolio:
    Maintain trademark portfolio across multiple jurisdictions, coordinate filings and renewals with outside counsel, monitor for infringement
  • Corporate Governance:
    Maintain corporate records, prepare board materials, manage entity compliance across jurisdictions
  • Litigation Support:
    Coordinate with outside counsel on active matters, manage document production and discovery
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    Track compliance requirements for bicycle and e-bike sales across US states and international markets
  • Outside Counsel Management:
    Serve as primary contact for law firms, manage engagement letters, track legal spending against budget
  • Paralegal certificate or bachelor's degree with 3-5 years corporate/commercial paralegal experience
  • Experience with contract drafting and negotiation
  • Strong understanding of corporate governance and entity management
  • Familiarity with trademark and IP portfolio management
  • Experience working with international legal matters preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of contract management software and legal research tools
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite products
  • Passion for cycling and the outdoor culture is highly desired
