Associate Attorney - Insurance Defense

Our client, a well-established Arizona law firm since 1978, is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney specializing in Insurance Defense in Phoenix, AZ. The role involves managing and litigating cases, providing legal counsel to clients, conducting research, preparing legal documents, and representing clients in trials and negotiations. This is an on-site position for candidates with strong litigation experience and active Arizona State Bar membership.

• Manage and litigate insurance defense and civil cases from inception to resolution.
• Conduct thorough legal research and prepare memoranda, pleadings, and other legal documents.
• Advise clients on insurance-related legal matters and provide strategic legal guidance.
• Represent clients in trials, hearings, and negotiations to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategy and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Maintain organized case files and manage multiple deadlines effectively.

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active Arizona State Bar membership required.
• Strong foundation in Law with experience in Insurance Defense and Labor & Employment Law.
• Proven ability to provide clear, strategic legal advice to clients.
• Excellent analytical, research, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines, and priorities efficiently.
• Relevant experience in insurance defense litigation or civil litigation preferred.
