Compliance and Legal Officer

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
Regulatory Compliance

• Monitor and interpret applicable laws, guidelines, and regulatory updates affecting B2B online gaming within MGA as well as other jurisdictions
• Manage license applications, renewals, and ongoing obligations
• Act as a liaison with the authorities and other relevant regulatory bodies.
• Oversee implementation and maintenance of AML/CFT frameworks in line with the FIAU Implementing @Procedures

• Conduct regular internal compliance audits and risk assessments.
• Maintain the company’s Compliance Register
  , incident logs, and reporting obligations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a range of commercial agreements (e.g., software licensing, SLAs, white-label agreements).
• Advise internal teams on legal and regulatory risk in marketing, promotional campaigns, and content distribution.
• Support the business with legal due diligence in corporate transactions (e.g., partnerships, investments).
• Ensure GDPR compliance, including data processing agreements, privacy policies, and cross-border data flows. Manage external counsel relationships as needed and oversee any legal disputes or litigation

• 3–5 years of experience in legal and/or compliance roles, ideally within the iGaming industry
• Knowledge of other licensing jurisdictions
• Proven experience with MGA regulatory requirements

• Strong knowledge of GDPR, AML/CFT regulations
  , and EU gaming legislation.

• Exceptional legal drafting and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and regulatory management tools.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, regulated environment

• Experience with blockchain/crypto compliance in gaming.
• Familiarity with risk-based approach to onboarding and KYB.
