Legal Counsel

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Legal Counsel with a strong background in construction law and dispute resolution to join our team. This individual will be responsible for providing legal guidance and managing the legal aspects of construction projects, with a focus on dispute resolution, arbitration, and claims management. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in managing complex construction disputes, ensuring compliance with local and international construction laws, and safeguarding the Company’s interests throughout the lifecycle of projects.

• Draft, review and negotiate Master Service Agreements, construction contracts, NDAs and various legal documents to ensure transactional security and maximize interests.
• Provide timely and strategic legal advice to manage corporate legal risks and ensure full compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Coordinate and integrate legal opinions across departments, propose appropriate solutions, and support business units in negotiations with clients or vendors to safeguard the Group’s interests.
• Manage all external disputes, including litigation, arbitration, mediation, and representing the Company in the procedures, and collaborate with external law firms to minimize legal risks.
• Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis, compile case law and legal precedents, and develop forward-looking legal strategies to guide business executives.
• Support the parent company’s legal compliance initiatives and policy implementation, ensuring local operations are aligned with corporate governance standards and regulatory expectations.
• Plan and implement legal training programs, establish corresponding management processes or policies, and proactively mitigate legal risks while aligning with the Parent Company’s legal compliance framework.

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an American Bar Association accredited law school.

• Arizona bar license, as an active member in good standing of the State Bar of Arizona.
• 5-10 years of relevant professional experience practicing law, with at least 3 years in construction litigation or trial.

• Prior in-house experience preferred.
• Experience in semiconductor, manufacturing, or high-tech construction is a strong plus.

• In-depth knowledge of contract and construction law, compliance, and risk management principles.
• Proven expertise in contract drafting, analysis, and negotiation, particularly in construction and infrastructure agreements.
• Extensive experience in managing disputes, arbitration proceedings, and claims resolution in construction.
• Exceptional judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex legal matters with precision.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts clearly
• Highly effective in cross-cultural collaboration and stakeholder engagement at all organizational levels.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-based environment.
• Strong work ethic, professionalism, and a commitment to delivering high-quality legal service.
• A solution-oriented mindset in addressing legal and operational challenges.

• Experience with large-scale construction projects or infrastructure development.
• Familiarity with CHIPS and Science Act.
