As an Employment Law Paralegal here at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in supporting our legal team by managing various aspects of employment law cases, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and assisting in the development of legal strategies. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining the integrity of our employment practices and safeguarding the company against legal risks.
In this role, you will impact the organization by providing essential support in legal matters related to employment law, thereby contributing to a fair and compliant workplace environment that aligns with Honeywell's values.
You will report directly to our Legal Counsel and you'll work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location on an Onsite work schedule.
ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and management of legal documents related to employment law cases.
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information to support employment law matters.
- Maintain organized case files and documentation, ensuring compliance with legal standards and company policies.
- Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field.
- At least of 5 years of experience as a paralegal, specifically in employment law.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including compliance and litigation processes.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
- Experience in drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
- Familiarity with HR policies and procedures as they relate to employment law.
- Experience working in a corporate legal environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Knowledge of local, state and federal employment laws.
