Position: CIVIL RIGHTS COMPLIANCE OFFICER I

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Investigate complaints and charges of discrimination in accordance with civil rights laws
  • Draft legal documents and conduct administrative interviews for fact-finding purposes
  • Analyze documentary evidence and summarize findings for case recommendations
  • Maintain detailed investigative files and prepare reports for legal staff review
  • Participate in community outreach and training regarding civil rights laws
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Knowledge of State and Federal civil rights laws and regulations
  • Proven experience in conducting interviews and investigations
  • Strong writing skills for drafting reports and legal documents
  • Ability to analyze documents and data for relevant information
  • Valid Arizona Driver’s License and consent to undergo a criminal background check
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Experience in civil rights compliance or similar legal work
  • Familiarity with community organizations and resources related to civil rights
  • Advanced skills in research and legal analysis
  • Experience with public speaking or training presentations
