The Ld Supply Chain Associate takes a lead role in executing supply chain work including receiving, inventory control, supply ordering, stocking & replenishment, and clinical equipment cleaning for all clinical and non-clinical areas of the Hospital, ensuring smooth operations. This position is required to have functional knowledge of all supply chain job areas of responsibility. This role will lead continuous improvement projects and other major supply chain initiatives under supervision and will train new and current employees in PC supply chain processes.
This position will work with the department Supervisor to manage schedules, monitor supplies, and address issues by analyzing data, finding solutions, and communicating with all stakeholders. This role must be capable of assuming Supervisor duties in their absence, and they will build positive relationships within the supply chain team and throughout the facility, placing an emphasis on customer service.
- High School diploma or equivalent (Required)
- Associate’s degree (Preferred)
- A minimum of five (5) years of Supply Chain experience, to include experience in at least two of the following disciplines: distribution, warehousing, shipping, receiving, logistics, material handling, inventory control-or other comparable supply chain service line. (Required)
- Experience in Supply Chain management and operation improvement in a healthcare setting. (Required)
- Electric pallet jack training certification (Preferred)
- Current and valid Arizona Driver’s License (Preferred)
- Familiarization with all aspects of Materials Management functions. (I.E. Receiving, Courier, Material handler, Equipment cleaning, Bulk ordering, and Dispatch responsibilities)
Ability to cross train in these areas as well. (Required) - High level of flexibility to understand the Materials Management process and support
in all Supply Chain operations. (Required) - Understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. (Required)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint. (Required)
- Demonstrable customer service skills including strong communication and problem-solving abilities to anticipate customer needs and swiftly and effectively resolve issues. (Required)
