Job Overview

We are seeking a Chief Supply Chain Officer (CSCO) responsible for the strategic leadership and end-to-end performance of the global supply chain for a $3.5B business. This leadership role oversees the design, optimization, and execution of integrated supply chain capabilities spanning planning, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and customer fulfillment. The CSCO will drive a multi-year transformation to modernize the supply chain, enabling scalable growth, operational excellence, and resilient global operations.

The CSCO partners closely with executive leadership across Operations, Finance, Commercial, Engineering, and IT to align supply chain strategy with enterprise objectives and long-term growth plans.

Job Responsibilities
  • Define and lead the operating company supply chain strategy aligned with long-term business growth and profitability goals.
  • Oversee the end-to-end supply chain including planning, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and customer fulfillment.
  • Lead global manufacturing footprint strategy, including plant network design, capacity planning, and make‑vs‑buy decisions.
  • Optimize the manufacturing and distribution network to balance cost, service, risk, sustainability, and resilience.
  • Champion Lean enterprise principles across the global manufacturing and supply chain organization.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, flow optimization, and waste reduction.
  • Lead the modernization of supply chain systems and digital capabilities.
  • Partner with IT and Engineering to deploy advanced planning, digital manufacturing, and analytics platforms.
  • Develop leadership capability across supply chain, manufacturing, and operations teams.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related discipline.
  • MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in global supply chain, manufacturing, or operations.
  • Significant experience leading supply chain strategy for complex, multi‑site manufacturing organizations.
  • Proven success leading enterprise transformation and supply chain modernization initiatives.
  • Deep expertise in manufacturing network design, supply chain planning, procurement, and logistics.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large capital investment strategies and operational improvement programs.
  • Strong financial acumen including cost modeling, investment evaluation, and operational performance management.
