Assistant Manager – Last Mile Operations

Location:

Phoenix, AZ
Shift: Tuesday–Saturday, 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM

As an Assistant Manager – Last Mile Operations, you will play a critical role supporting site leadership and ensuring seamless day-to-day execution. This hands‑on leadership role partners with the Site Manager and leads operations independently when needed.

• Lead second‑shift site operations, ensuring smooth daily logistics activities
• Oversee driver returns, including receiving, labeling, and routing returned goods into trailers
• Manage shipping discrepancies, damaged goods, and customer‑related escalations
• Dispatch trucks using GPS systems and monitor delivery performance
• Supervise on‑site teams, including Customer Service Representatives and Routers
• Maintain operational reports, performance metrics, and customer service scores
• Act as the primary decision‑maker during shift, closing the building and ensuring all processes are completed

• Experience in logistics, supply chain, manufacturing, or a related field
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Tech‑savvy with the ability to quickly learn systems, scanning tools, and reporting platforms
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• High level of accountability, reliability, and follow‑through
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required
• Self‑starter capable of working independently and leading without constant supervision

Salary: $60,000 – $65,000 annually

Phoenix, AZ (On‑site)

Schedule:

Tuesday–Saturday, 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Work Model:
On‑site, with the possibility of 5–6 working days during peak seasons or business needs
