Senior Manager, Supply Chain Customer Operations – Aerospace

As a Senior Manager, Supply Chain Customer Operations – Aerospace at Honeywell Aerospace, you will be a key leader driving the success of our supply chain initiatives.

You will report to the Senior Director, Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) Customer Operations for Business and General Aviation and work on a hybrid schedule from Phoenix, AZ;
Tempe, AZ;
Clearwater, FL;
Urbana, OH; or Olathe, KS.

In this role, you will lead and align supply chain projects supporting Embraer, with a focus on driving execution and ensuring on time avionics delivery. Customer Operations is a critical function that ensures our most important customers have the information they need to plan production, while proactively identifying and resolving complex supply chain issues before they impact aircraft production lines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive on-time delivery to meet customer requirements.

  • Act as the escalation point for critical supplier and customer issues.

  • Lead internal and customer discussions on recovery plans and long‑term solutions.

  • Enable effective communication across customers and internal teams.

  • Execute improvement initiatives to enhance customer‑facing metrics and performance.

  • Develop and support ramp‑up and rate readiness plans, including staffing, training, and capacity.

  • Provide clear, strategic updates to leadership on performance, risks, and opportunities.

  • Define and communicate the strategic vision for supply chain project management, aligned to business objectives.

  • Lead and develop a high‑performing team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

  • Partner with cross‑functional teams (Operations, Planning, Scheduling, Procurement) to identify and drive process improvements.

  • Influence suppliers and Honeywell manufacturing sites to advance initiatives that improve overall supply chain performance.

  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and resources to ensure successful execution.

  • Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation actions.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

  • Collaborate across operations, materials, sourcing, and engineering to resolve systemic issues.

  • Escalate key issues through site accountability forums to drive delivery and quality improvements.

You Must Have
  • 8+ years of experience in supply chain project management, demonstrating a consistent record of success in leading and delivering complex projects.

  • Proficiency in SAP and strong analytical skills.

  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to think strategically and align supply chain projects with overall business objectives.

  • Proven expertise in driving and managing change within a dynamic supply chain environment, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and adaptability.

  • Expert knowledge of supply chain processes, spanning procurement, planning, manufacturing, logistics, and customer fulfillment.
