Procurement Manager – Semiconductor Supply Chain Operations
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Procurement Manager – Semiconductor Supply Chain Operations to lead and optimize critical supply chain activities supporting advanced semiconductor manufacturing and technology-driven projects.
This is a high-impact leadership role for a supply chain professional who thrives in a fast-paced, global environment and understands the complexity of semiconductor materials, equipment, supplier networks, and operational execution.
The successful candidate will lead a dedicated supply chain function, drive process improvements, strengthen supplier partnerships, and ensure seamless material flow from sourcing through delivery. This role offers the opportunity to influence operational strategy, improve supply chain performance, and contribute directly to the success of next‑generation semiconductor initiatives.
Key Responsibilities Supply Chain Leadership & Strategy- Lead and manage the supply chain section, including procurement, materials planning, logistics coordination, and supplier management activities.
- Develop and execute supply chain strategies that support business growth, project timelines, and operational objectives.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and direction to supply chain team members to achieve performance goals.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Oversee sourcing and procurement activities for semiconductor materials, equipment, components, and operational requirements.
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with domestic and international suppliers.
- Evaluate supplier capabilities, capacity, quality performance, lead times, and cost competitiveness.
- Lead supplier improvement initiatives and support risk mitigation strategies to ensure supply continuity.
- Manage end-to-end material planning processes, including demand forecasting, purchasing, inventory control, and delivery execution.
- Optimize inventory levels while minimizing shortages, excess inventory, and supply chain risks.
- Partner with engineering, manufacturing, project management, and operations teams to ensure material availability.
- Improve visibility and traceability of critical semiconductor materials and equipment.
- Analyze supply chain performance data to identify opportunities for cost reduction, efficiency improvements, and process optimization.
- Drive implementation and enhancement of ERP, WMS, and supply chain management systems.
- Establish and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) to support scalability and operational excellence.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and industry requirements.
- Serve as a key liaison between procurement, engineering, manufacturing, logistics, finance, and executive leadership teams.
- Support strategic planning, project execution, and operational decision-making.
- Communicate supply chain risks, opportunities, and performance updates to leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, materials management, or logistics operations.
- Semiconductor, electronics manufacturing, advanced manufacturing, industrial equipment, or high‑tech industry experience strongly preferred.
- Proven experience leading teams, managing suppliers, and improving supply chain performance.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management, supplier development, and logistics operations.
- Experience working with ERP systems and supply chain management tools.
- Strong analytical, leadership, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience supporting semiconductor fabs, cleanroom environments, semiconductor equipment installation, or high‑value technical materials.
- Experience managing global suppliers and international supply chains.
- Experience with strategic sourcing, supplier qualification, and risk management.
- Experience driving Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement initiatives.
