The Ld Supply Chain Associate takes a lead role in executing supply chain work, including receiving, inventory control, supply ordering, stocking & replenishment, and clinical equipment cleaning for all clinical and non-clinical areas of the Hospital. The role requires functional knowledge of all supply chain job areas, directs continuous improvement projects, trains staff, manages schedules, monitors supplies, and addresses issues through data analysis and stakeholder communication.
The associate must be capable of assuming supervisory duties when required and foster positive relationships within the supply chain team and across the facility, emphasizing customer service.
- Guide and support the supply chain team in daily execution of tasks to ensure uninterrupted supply availability and effective completion of receiving, inventory control, supply ordering, stocking & replenishment, and clinical equipment cleaning.
- Assist the department Supervisor in managing the daily schedule, recommending adjustments for priorities and staffing challenges, and monitoring the assignment of routine tasks.
- Track key performance indicators, analyze trends, best practices, and conduct root‑cause analysis and audits.
- Ensure consistent workflow and communication between supply chain departments by identifying information gaps and providing resolutions.
- Lead continuous improvement and major projects under supervision to expand capabilities and improve process efficiency.
- Train new and existing employees on all job functions and responsibilities.
- Perform miscellaneous duties as requested.
- High School diploma or equivalent (Required)
- Associate’s degree (Preferred)
- Minimum of five (5) years of Supply Chain experience, including at least two of the following disciplines: distribution, warehousing, shipping, receiving, logistics, material handling, inventory control, or comparable service line.
- Experience in supply chain management and operational improvement in a healthcare setting.
- Familiarity with all aspects of Materials Management functions (receiving, courier, material handling, equipment cleaning, bulk ordering, dispatch).
- Ability to cross‑train in these areas.
- High level of flexibility to support all supply chain operations.
- Understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.
- Demonstrable customer service skills with strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.
- Electric pallet jack training certification (Preferred)
- Current and valid Arizona Driver’s License (Preferred)
