Job DescriptionRole Overview
- Procurement Specialist responsible for supporting the Procurement Operations team by managing invoice exceptions and providing surge support to meet operational procurement demands.
- Executes procurement activities across the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process while partnering with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure timely resolution of purchasing and invoicing issues.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage and resolve invoice exceptions, partnering with internal teams and suppliers to ensure timely processing and issue resolution.
- Provide surge support for procurement operations, assisting with increased workload and business unit purchasing needs.
- Execute purchase order (PO) creation, execution, and maintenance within the P2P process.
- Support contract administration, including contract reviews, redlines, negotiations, and compliance with procurement requirements.
- Track procurement activities, supplier performance, and purchasing transactions to ensure accuracy, cost effectiveness, and service continuity.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to support sourcing activities, supplier communications, and operational procurement objectives.
Required Experience (Non-Negotiable)
- A four-year Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or other job-related discipline from an accredited college or university plus two (2) years of experience in materials or services positions.
- In lieu of a bachelor's degree, six (6) years of significant, closely related materials/services/supply chain experience is required.
- Experience handling invoice exceptions and procurement issue resolution.
- Experience with PO execution, purchasing processes, and supplier interactions.
- Ability to review and manage contracts, contract redlines, negotiations, and Statements of Work (SOWs).
- Strong analytical, written, verbal communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred / Valuable Background
- Exposure to strategic supply chain management.
- Experience developing or managing supplier performance metrics and KPIs.
- Background working in a high-volume procurement environment requiring prioritization of competing requests.

Hybrid/Flex; potentially 1 day per week onsite during Procurement team office day. - Hours:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM - Overtime: TBD
- Contract Length: 12 months with possibility of extension
