Data Center Inventory & Asset Technician

Our client, a leading player in the technology sector, is seeking a Data Center Inventory & Asset Technician to join their team. As a Data Center Inventory & Asset Technician, you will be part of the Cloud Operations & Innovation department supporting vital infrastructure services. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

** Duration** : 18 Month contract

** Pay Range:**  $24-$26 per hour

All training will be standard hours M-F 8:30-5p for the first week then consultants will move to their assigned schedule

Front Half A Day Sun-Tues, Sun-Wed 6:30a - 6:30p

Back Half B Day Wed-Sat, Wed-Sun 6:30a- 6:30p

Front half A Night Sun-Tues, Sun-Wed 6:30p - 6:30a

Back Half B Night Wed-Sat, Wed-Sun 6:30p- 6:30a

** What's the Job?*
* + Perform cycle audits and execute incoming/outgoing deliveries while documenting all transactions accurately.

+ Coordinate with suppliers to initiate warranty claims and process returns on failed equipment.

+ Develop working knowledge of inventory management principles and stock control practices.

+ Ensure compliance with security and data management policies while handling data-bearing devices.

+ Assist in reconciling inventory discrepancies and maintaining detailed physical inventory records.

** What's Needed?*
* + High School Diploma AND 6 months experience or an internship in inventory management, retail, warehouse management, or a related field.

+ Preferred: 2 + years' experience in warehouse/supply chain in an IT environment.

+ Familiarity with IT hardware, warranty claims, and return merchandise authorizations (RMA).

+ Ability to operate heavy-load movement equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jacks) is a plus.

+ Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
