Test Range Operations
Assists government and other TRAX Ammunition Stock Control personnel with ammunition stock control for YPG in the Ammunition Management Division. Assists with and develops independent skills to generate, process, close, and file ammunition related documents required for mission testing programs, including documents requiring several steps each to support the accountability of assets. Requires tremendous attention to detail and accuracy. Works closely with Test Officers and other customers, and must communicate clearly in person, on the telephone, and via e-mail.
Assists with tactfully and respectfully seeking solutions to ammunition availability and accountability issues, many unknown and unforeseen. Assists with selecting the appropriate method from a variety of procedures to expedite ammunition processes, as needed. Assists with processing multiple documents at different stages of completion, accurately and often simultaneously. Assists with maintaining 100% asset accountability by inventories generated and documented quarterly.
Assists with the maintenance of comprehensive electronic and paper filing systems to support required regulatory accountability for inspections and audits. Performs other duties as required to complete the assigned mission. This position is covered under the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Pay Rate: $22.54
Education/Licenses/Certifications/Experience Requirements:- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience with the operation of office equipment (fax, copier, etc).
- Must be proficient with MS Office software and Outlook.
- Must have the ability to quickly learn and use specialized software applications.
- Must have excellent computer and typing skills.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and physical and periodic retests.
- Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for work tasks assigned.
- Must be capable of working in extreme weather conditions including summer temperatures peaking around 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Must meet the physical requirements necessary to perform operations outlined, performed, and stated in the SOPs for Ammunition Logistics.
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs unassisted.
- Must be capable of frequent squatting, crouching, and stooping
- Must be tolerant of frequent weapons systems firings.
- Must be able speak, write, read, and understand English.
- Must have a well-mannered customer service attitude.
- Must be willing to cross-train in other areas.
- Must use "down-time" effectively to the benefit of test, self, and company.
- Must be punctual, responsible, and dependable.
- Must demonstrate motivation, initiative, and reliability.

Qualifications:
- Knowledge of government office procedures and/or purchasing and contracting procedure.
- Experience in a testing environment.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and direction.
- Experience with SAAS-MOD, TAMIS, AESIP, MARS, Yuma GRID, and/or FEDLOG
