Hot Foot Recruiters is partnering with a growing international logistics organization to hire a Bilingual Customer Service Specialist (Mandarin/English) in Phoenix, AZ. This role supports import/export shipment coordination, customer communication, freight quotations, and day-to-day logistics operations.

This position is ideal for a bilingual professional with prior freight forwarding, logistics, transportation, import/export, warehouse, or supply chain experience who enjoys working directly with customers and coordinating shipments from start to finish.

Position: Bilingual Customer Service Specialist – Mandarin/English Location: Phoenix, AZ Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire Pay: Starting at $55,000/year DOE Schedule: Monday–Friday | Start time between 7:30 AM–9:00 AM Work Arrangement: Hybrid flexibility may be available based on business needs and supervisor approval.
Responsibilities
  • Communicate with customers through email, phone, and in-person meetings.
  • Coordinate import and export shipments to ensure timely and accurate transportation.
  • Prepare and provide freight quotations to customers.
  • Coordinate with customers, carriers, warehouses, vendors, and other logistics partners.
  • Monitor shipment progress and communicate updates, delays, and requirements to customers.
  • Support shipment documentation and maintain accurate customer and logistics records.
  • Follow up with internal and external partners to ensure shipments are completed efficiently.
  • Provide responsive customer service and help resolve shipment-related issues.
Qualifications
  • Mandarin-English bilingual ability required.
  • 2+ years of logistics industry experience preferred, including freight forwarding, import/export, transportation, shipping, or related operations.
  • Associate degree or higher preferred.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Comfortable coordinating with customers, carriers, warehouses, and logistics partners.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organization and follow-through.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
