- Survey all potential new service accounts and current service equipment.
- Manage key accounts, communicating customer and sales team needs.
- Coordinate route management with the service coordinator.
- Conduct training and meetings with service technicians.
- Maintain equipment (ladder, drill, safety gear) for technicians.
- Coordinate truck maintenance for service operations.
- Implement risk and safety mitigation.
- Perform quality control checks in the field.
- Update work orders if data is incorrect.
- Coordinate with other departments for inventory, scheduling, etc.
- Make initial contact on site and explain daily tasks.
- Install HVAC filters in various air handlers.
- Conduct visual inspections of each unit during service.
- Document deficiencies and forward them to management for customer contact.
- Obtain required paperwork signatures.
- Handle deliveries and pickups as needed.
- Work collaboratively with the team.
- Travel to out‑of‑town services, service quotes, and training sessions.
- Assist with warehouse activities related to service.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- HVAC technical certification from an accredited school.
- Experience with hand tools and forklift operation (preferred).
- OSHA 10 or higher certification.
- 5+ years of commercial HVAC experience.
- Surveying skills and safety training.
- High school diploma.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Must drive a 16‑ft box truck and have DOT physical clearance.
- Must be able to lift 25+ pounds and climb ladders and stairs.
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors; able to stand, sit, or stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for percentage calculations and work order verification.
- Effective communication with customers and co‑workers.
- Ability to work in a partially indoor/partially outdoor warehouse environment.
- Understand safety requirements for forklift operation and PPE usage.
