Building Maintenance​/Janitorial

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general fixtures.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify areas needing repair or maintenance, reporting any issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and work orders.
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of facilities for events and special projects.
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of building facilities, including restrooms, offices, and common areas.
• Ensure the proper functioning of equipment and systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical fixtures.
• Handle waste management, including recycling and disposal of hazardous materials as needed.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies to minimize downtime.
• Other duties as needed or required.

• Primary work environment is the production floor.
• Secondary work environment is the office.
• Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) through the entire shift.
• Ability to be aware of surroundings for safety concerns.
• While performing duties of this job the employee will be required to frequently stand on their feet for extended periods of time; occasional stooping and walking will be required.

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training or certification preferred.
• Proven experience in building maintenance or facility management.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and lift heavy objects as necessary.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on teamwork and customer service.
• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
