THE POSITIONWe’re looking for a full‑time Safety Manager who will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and will directly report to the Safety and Training Director. The Safety Manager must be task‑oriented, detail‑oriented, able to adapt to changes, and understand how to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Developing and implementing health and safety plans
- Creating and enforcing policies to establish and maintain a safe work environment and culture
- Assessing risks and evaluating practices and facilities
- Conducting safety training sessions
- Investigating accidents and providing recommendations for improvement
- Communicating guidelines to employees and maintaining a safe workplace
- Creating and updating SOPs
- Other duties as assigned by management
- Bachelor’s degree in safety management, occupational health, or relevant field preferred**
- OSHA 500, CHST, or CSP preferred**
- 4+ years’ experience in the field as a safety operator or manager
- Legal understanding of health and safety guidelines
- Good knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment
- Self‑manage and motivated
- Proficient computer skills
$70,000 to $90,000 per year
