Overview
About the Role:
We are seeking a driven and experienced Residential Area Manager to oversee operations, sales, and team performance within our residential roofing division. This role is responsible for managing field teams, ensuring project quality, building strong customer relationships, and driving growth within the assigned territory. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, deep residential roofing knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Oversee day-to-day operations within the assigned residential territory
- Lead, develop, and support residential field teams and project staff
- Ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to company and industry standards
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and materials to ensure timely completion
- Conduct jobsite visits to review progress, quality, and safety compliance
- Maintain strong communication with homeowners, project managers, and crews
- Resolve customer issues, service requests, and escalations professionally
- Drive sales growth through relationship-building and territory management
- Review and approve estimates, scopes of work, and job documentation
- Ensure accurate reporting on project status, team performance, and KPIs
- Collaborate with leadership on process improvements and business objectives
- 35+ years of experience in residential roofing, construction, or related field
- Prior leadership or management experience strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of residential roofing systems, materials, and installation practices
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Comfortable working outdoors and visiting active jobsites
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Proficiency with project management or CRM software (Company Cam, Accu Lynx, etc. a plus)
