We are partnered with a well-established general contractor active in the Phoenix market seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead industrial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role will play a key part in driving project profitability, schedule performance, subcontractor coordination, and client satisfaction on ground-up industrial facilities including warehouses, manufacturing, and food & beverage buildings.
Role & Responsibilities- Lead the full project lifecycle for industrial construction projects in the Phoenix region
- Manage project financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, cost controls, and change management
- Oversee subcontractor procurement, contract negotiation, and scope alignment
- Maintain and monitor project schedules with project teams, identify critical path items, and drive milestone achievement
- Coordinate closely with field leadership to ensure seamless execution of project scope
- Serve as main point of contact for owners, design teams, and third-party consultants
- Oversee RFIs, submittals, and critical coordination efforts related to industrial scopes
- Anticipate risks and constructability issues and implement mitigation strategies
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and contractual requirements
- Prepare and present project reports, forecasts, and updates to internal leadership and external stakeholders
- 8+ years of Project Management experience in commercial or industrial construction
- Proven track record leading industrial construction projects, preferably $25M+
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents, coordination drawings, and specifications
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Proficiency with construction management software and reporting tools
- Ability to be onsite in the Phoenix market and engage closely with project teams
