Job Purpose Summary: The Inventory Control and Quality Assurance Supervisor (ICQA Supervisor) role is responsible for the leadership and management of warehouse staff while also overseeing inventory management, quality standards, and operations within the warehouse. As supervisor, it is important that you have an expert understanding and knowledge of all outbound, inbound, inventory, and quality activities affecting the business and its operations.

This role is accountable to the inventory and site manager and is responsible for departmental and shift applicable key performance indicators [KPIs]. As a team leader and expert in operational standards, the supervisor is expected to be available to assist the team whenever possible or necessary. Functions of the ICQA Supervisor role will include operating a forklift, reach truck, or electric pallet jack. Operation of this equipment is considered safety-sensitive falls within the parameters of VGM Fulfillment's Drug-free Workplace Policy.

Reporting Accountability: Inventory Control and Quality Assurance Manager

Working Location: On-Site at VGM Fulfillment Warehouse - Phoenix, AZ

Work Hours Classification: Full-Time, M-F, 8:00am-5:00pm+

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory and Quality Management

• Oversee warehouse inventory levels and organization
• Oversee warehouse quality controls and standards while managing quality stations within the warehouse
• Ensure efficient inventory management and accurate quality of the movement of inventory
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate inventory records in the system
• Ensure inventory levels are sufficient for stocking shelves while striving for lean efficiencies
• Coordinate cycle counts
• Collaborate with supply chain and other cross-functional teams to ensure inventory accuracy and tracking
• Assist in implementing process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy and efficiency
• Generate and analyze inventory reports to identify trends and areas for improvement
• Assist with the creation of standard operating procedures for inventory management and maintain documentation accordingly

Warehouse Operations

• Oversee and execute daily production, shift, and departmental goals and tasks as defined by the site manager
• Allocate resources and labor as needed to meet goals
• Maintain thorough understanding of standard operating procedures and ensure ability to answer any questions relating to standard procedures
• Conduct regular safety inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards and complete all necessary documentation; ensure the appropriate corrective action is taken
• Responsible for implementation of health and safety, security, and compliance initiatives, practices and behaviors and adherence to company policies and procedures
• Operate material handling devices like forklifts, follow safety procedures, maintain precise records of all product movements, and implement quality control measures
• Maintain a clear and organized work environment to prevent accidents and injuries by ensuring all work areas are kept tidy and free of hazards by regularly cleaning and organizing tools, equipment, and materials
• Maintain compliance, safety, and quality standards by ensuring strict adherence to company policies and procedures
• Maintain a thorough understanding of standard operating procedures and answer any questions relating to the procedures
• Act as a main point of contact for site safety initiatives and, in partnership with site manager, assist with safety inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards and complete all necessary documentation

Team Leadership

• Responsible for leading and developing assigned team members, inclusive of completing annual reviews, weekly timecards, and any time off requests
• Develop team members through consistent feedback, performance managing as needed and in collaboration with manager and HR
• Provide direct and indirect supervision of employees
• Lead by example in following safety protocols and encouraging reporting of safety concerns
• Train employees on operational, inventory, and quality standards, procedures, and protocols
