The Supervisor of Construction Services provides supervisory leadership for project management teams delivering customer-driven transmission projects in support of data centers and large commercial developers within the Major Customer Projects (MCP) portfolio. Oversees, coaches, and supports project managers to ensure projects are executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with contractual requirements and customer expectations. Coordinates design, construction, inspection, safety, and field activities while fostering effective cross-functional collaboration to drive efficient, cost-effective project delivery.
Serves as a key point of escalation for complex project and customer issues, ensuring consistent communication, risk management, and a high-quality experience for high-profile customers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field plus four (4) years experience in project management, design, Transmission & Distribution portfolio management, or construction/maintenance.
- In lieu of bachelor’s degree, combination of college coursework and experience in project management, design, or construction/maintenance totaling eight (8) years.
- Preferred Special Skills, Knowledge or
Qualifications: - Experience with in an electric utility transmission organization, preferably supporting large, customer-driven projects
- Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, or providing oversight to the project management team or cross-functional teams
- Strong customer engagement and relationship management skills, particularly with data center and large commercial customers
- Solid understanding of budget development, forecasting, accruals, and cost tracking for capital projects
- Working knowledge of customer contracts, including Schedule 3 service agreements, and how contractual commitments impact project scope, schedule, and risk
- Working knowledge of contract administration, change management, and project controls
- Familiarity with APS systems such as CC&B, Maximo, EPMS, and standard Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
