Sunstates Security is hiring an experienced Full‑Time Security Site Supervisor for a client site in Phoenix, AZ. This position offers a starting pay rate of $24.00/hr, paid weekly

- Provide oversight of the site’s security team, its performance, and its schedule, to include arranging and updating weekly schedules, and resolving any emergency staffing situations caused by call‑offs or special needs.
- Oversee development efforts, including coordinating the training of new personnel assigned to the site, identifying and mentoring leadership candidates, and addressing specific training concerns as needed.
- Ensure consistent employee adherence to performance expectations through appropriate monitoring and coaching of employees, to include issuing corrective actions as needed.
- Provide leadership, direction, and communication for security personnel as part of their chain of command. Positively impact employee retention and morale by demonstrating effective leadership and fostering appropriate relationships. Monitor and mentor shift supervisors to ensure success.
- Assist the Account Manager with developing, revising, and implementing new policies and procedures.
- Participate in meetings and assist the client with projects on behalf of the Account Manager when needed/appropriate.
- Perform duties associated with the Sunstates’ Quality Assurance Program.
- Perform additional tasks as directed by the Account Manager.
- You are responsible for managing your work schedule in real time. This also includes preparing schedules at least two weeks in advance and submitting them to the Account Manager for approval.
- You are responsible for managing all aspects of training at the site location including but not limited to OJT.
- You are responsible for keeping the client, Account Manager, and Operations Manager informed of all significant site issues, incidents, and developments.
- You are responsible for making sure that all your personnel are up to date on mandatory trainings and certifications (Sunstates Academy).
- You should be prepared to do tasks outside of the set duties as asked by leadership to ensure that we are meeting our business objectives and taking care of our customers.
- Prior security supervisor experience.
- 2+ years related management/supervisory experience.
- Must have prior security, law enforcement, or military experience.
