Position: Mechanical Construction Project Manager

Overview

We’re seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Project Manager to lead commercial and industrial mechanical projects throughout the Phoenix area. This individual will oversee the full project lifecycle — from preconstruction through closeout — ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, client-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all phases of mechanical construction projects, including HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems.
  • Oversee project schedules, budgets, and subcontractor coordination to ensure successful delivery.
  • Lead and mentor project engineers and field teams to drive performance and maintain quality standards.
  • Collaborate closely with clients, general contractors, and design teams to resolve issues and ensure alignment.
  • Review design documents, submittals, RFIs, and change orders for accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain project cost control, forecasting, and billing accuracy throughout project duration.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety policies, jobsite procedures, and industry standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience managing mechanical construction projects.
  • Proven background in commercial or industrial HVAC and plumbing systems.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software (such as Bluebeam, Procore, or MS Project).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
