We are looking for a proven leader to oversee and grow our Commercial Plumbing Service division. This role is responsible for directing all service operations, driving team performance, and ensuring customers receive responsive, high-quality service. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with the ability to lead people, manage processes, and keep operations running efficiently.

In this position, you’ll act as the operational backbone of the service department—supporting technicians in the field, partnering with dispatch and vendors, and serving as a trusted point of contact for customers and internal leadership.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead day-to-day operations of the commercial plumbing service team, ensuring jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards
  • Plan and manage technician workloads in coordination with dispatch to meet service commitments and priorities
  • Provide technical guidance and field support to resolve complex service issues
  • Build, develop, and retain a skilled team through hiring, onboarding, training, and ongoing coaching
  • Evaluate technician performance and implement corrective or development plans as needed
  • Establish and maintain training initiatives focused on safety, code compliance, and best practices
  • Conduct regular team meetings to review performance, share updates, and reinforce expectations
  • Track departmental metrics, budgets, and service KPIs to support profitability and continuous improvement
  • Review service documentation, work orders, and billing for accuracy and timeliness
  • Oversee materials, parts, and inventory to ensure readiness and minimize downtime
  • Ensure company policies, procedures, and safety standards are consistently followed
  • Manage service vehicles, tools, and equipment to maintain compliance and operational readiness
  • Work closely with other department leaders to align service operations with overall company objectives
What You Bring
  • Demonstrated leadership experience within commercial plumbing service operations
  • Strong working knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and industry standards
  • Ability to motivate, train, and hold teams accountable
  • Solid organizational skills with experience in scheduling, budgeting, and performance tracking
  • Clear communicator who can work effectively with technicians, customers, and leadership
  • Comfort reviewing service reports, invoices, and operational data
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive base pay & bonus with opportunities for advancement
  • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and retirement plan options
  • Paid time off and paid holidays
