Project Manager II (Utility Distribution)
Location: Hybrid – Phoenix (Deer Valley) or Prescott, AZ
Pay Rate: $53.00 per hour
Job Type: 12-Month Contract (with potential for extension)
Schedule: 40 hours/week. Initial 5-day onsite training period; transitioning to a hybrid 3-day onsite schedule once proficient.

The OpportunityWe are seeking a high-caliber Project Manager II to lead critical 69kV and 12kV distribution projects. This role is perfect for a proactive leader who thrives on technical complexity and enjoys the "ownership" phase of project management—from initial GIS planning to final cost variance analysis. You will be the bridge between technical engineering teams and corporate stakeholders, ensuring our infrastructure remains reliable and efficient.
CoreResponsibilities
- Project Leadership: Manage the full lifecycle of 69kV and 12kV distribution projects, including oversight of distribution protection equipment.
- Systems Management: Utilize Maximo for asset management and ESRI GIS for precise project planning and cross-team coordination.
- Scheduling & Controls: Create and maintain rigorous project schedules using Microsoft Project or Primavera P6
. - Financial Oversight: Manage project costs, report on actuals, and perform detailed variance analysis to keep projects on budget.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Present complex technical updates to diverse audiences and build strong relationships across cross-functional teams.
