Job DescriptionThe Senior District Manager (SDM) is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations across a large geographic district, ensuring service quality, operational efficiency, and team performance. This role manages a high-volume portfolio of properties and a large technician workforce, while serving as the primary escalation point for operational, personnel, and client issues. The SDM plays a critical leadership role in maintaining standards, driving accountability, and scaling performance.
Key Responsibilities – Operations & Route Management- Oversee daily route scheduling and coverage for 30+ technicians across the district
- Ensure consistent execution of service standards across 200+ bulk and leveling properties
- Monitor productivity, route efficiency, and service completion
- Adjust staffing and routes to address call-outs or coverage gaps
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and train technicians to company standards
- Coach, develop, and hold technicians accountable
- Conduct ride-alongs, audits, and performance reviews
- Handle disciplinary actions and corrective coaching
- Manage district fleet operations and vehicle compliance
- Ensure accurate technician check-in and clock-out procedures
- Monitor vehicle usage and safety expectations
- Conduct routine and spot property visits
- Address service failures and operational issues
- Respond to escalated incidents involving technicians or residents
- Communicate with internal teams and external partners
- Resolve escalations and maintain professional relationships
- Represent the company during sensitive situations
- Track district KPIs including productivity and compliance
- Identify risks and improvement opportunities
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
- Prior experience in operations or field management preferred
- Experience managing large teams
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the district
