We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated individual to fill the Manager of Operations Support. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to fill a key technology position serving the semiconductor equipment market with a career growth-oriented company.

The Manager of Operations Support position will lead and continuously improve critical operational functions including inventory management, inventory analysis, supplier management, and purchase order execution. This role is a key interface between operations, supply chain, customers, finance, and suppliers, ensuring material availability, cost discipline, and operational scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management & Analysis
  • Own end-to-end inventory management strategy, ensuring optimal stock levels to support semiconductor customer commitments.
  • Develop and maintain inventory policies, controls, and KPIs (e.g., turns, ageing, excess & obsolete)
  • Lead detailed inventory analysis to identify risks, trends, and opportunities for cost reduction and working capital improvement
  • Establish and manage strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure quality, on-time delivery, and cost competitiveness
  • Lead supplier performance reviews and drive corrective actions where needed
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and operations to support supplier onboarding and issue resolution
  • Support sourcing strategies that balance cost, risk, and scalability
Purchase Orders & Procurement Execution
  • Oversee purchase order processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with demand plans
  • Implement process improvements to streamline PO creation, approvals, and supplier communication
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual terms, and internal controls
Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of operations support and supply chain professionals
  • Partner closely with Manufacturing, Planning, Engineering, Finance, and Logistics teams
  • Drive process standardization, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Prepare and present operational metrics and recommendations to senior leadership
Growth & Future Scope
  • Participate in strategic initiatives to scale operations as the business grows
  • Opportunity to take on additional functional ownership (e.g., planning, logistics, systems, or broader operations support) based on performance and organizational needs
Qualifications

Required:

  • 8–12+ years of progressive experience in operations, supply chain, or inventory management
  • Proven people leadership experience at the manager or senior manager level
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into action
  • Experience managing inventory in a manufacturing, semiconductor, or high-tech environment
  • Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and advanced Excel or data analysis tools
  • Experience in semiconductor equipment or capital equipment manufacturing
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional initiatives and change management efforts
  • Knowledge of inventory accounting concepts and working capital optimization
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Operations, or related field
  • Preferred but not required Master’s degree (MBA or related field)

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on several factors including location and level and will vary depending on confirmed job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. (MIN/MID/MAX range: $101.3K, $144.8K,$188,2K). In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation.
