Utility Manager
- Traveling Role (Hybrid: Remote + On-Site)

Important: This is a traveling position with a hybrid schedule - one week remote, followed by one week on-site. All travel expenses and per diem are provided.
We're hiring a Utility Manager to lead construction projects in the utility space, including high-voltage and electrical infrastructure. This individual will oversee all phases of utility work - from planning and estimating to execution and compliance - ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

We're hiring a Utility Manager to lead construction projects in the utility space, including high-voltage and electrical infrastructure. This individual will oversee all phases of utility work - from planning and estimating to execution and compliance - ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead utility construction projects from start to finish
Create and manage detailed project schedules using tools like Procore
Define scope, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with cross-functional teams
Perform construction estimates and manage contract specifications
Ensure full compliance with NESC, NEC, OSHA, and local safety codes
Promote a strong safety culture on all active construction sites
Coordinate closely with subcontractors and site managers
Track progress and provide updates to internal stakeholders
Implement best practices to improve overall construction performance
5+ years of project management experience in the utility industry
Proficiency in scheduling software (Procore preferred)
Experience with construction estimating and contract management
Strong organizational and communication skills
In-depth knowledge of electrical utility construction, systems, and materials
PMP Certification preferred; OSHA 30 and other safety certs are a plus
Comfortable with alternating remote/on-site travel schedule
Salary: $110,000 - $145,000 DOE
